ABOUT THE EVENT

Indigenous teachings, story, connection and an evening beneath the Fundy night sky

Saturday, September 26 | 5–9 PM

Tapestry · 311 Tynemouth Creek Rd, Tynemouth Creek

A Very Special Evening

Created by Age of Possibility in partnership with Cliff Valley Astronomy, Stars, Story & Soul is a unique cultural and astrotourism experience led by Mi'gmaq Elders Cynthia, Constance and Raymond Sewell of Pabineau First Nation. Hosted at Tapestry, Age of Possibility's intimate coastal retreat setting overlooking the Bay of Fundy.

The Elders have created a very personal experience for this gathering, sharing teachings, stories and perspectives that invite us to deepen our connection to the spaces around us — the land, sea, one another and the sky.

As the evening unfolds, we'll share a seasonal harvest meal, gather in Tapestry's Circle of Possibility, experience a moon ceremony as the Harvest Moon rises over Tynemouth Creek, and end beneath the Fundy night sky with guided stargazing by Cliff Valley Astronomy.

Tickets: $149+hst

Includes the complete four-hour experience, seasonal harvest meal, Indigenous-led program and moon ceremony, guided stargazing, and a special gift for each guest created by the Elders.

Attendance is limited to preserve the intimate nature of the gathering. RESERVE YOUR SPACE!

Welcome & Introductions

Meet the Elders, our hosts and one another as we begin our evening together.

A Seasonal Harvest Meal

Share a locally inspired meal celebrating the flavours of the season and our region.

Indigenous Teachings, Story & Connection

In Tapestry's Circle of Possibility, Cynthia, Constance and Raymond will draw on Mi'gmaq teachings and traditions to share stories, reflections and perspectives on our relationship with the natural world. As the Harvest Moon rises, they will invite us to honour this sacred and grounding time through a moon ceremony created especially for the gathering.

Harvest Moon & Moon Ceremony

At approximately 7 PM, the Harvest Moon rises across Tapestry's eastern horizon over Tynemouth Creek as the Elders lead a moon ceremony.

Beneath the Fundy Sky

As darkness settles, Stéphane Picard of Cliff Valley Astronomy will guide us through the moon, stars and night sky above Fundy-St. Martins.
