Hiking & Kayaking

2025 Retreats

July 10th-13th

Embark on an unforgettable adventure in the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tides in the world, right at your doorstep. Tapestry, our exclusive AoP retreat property, has partnered with In Step Adventures to bring you an extraordinary journey across land and sea, all while staying in our luxurious coastal accommodations.

Just steps from Tapestry, you’ll find one of New Brunswick’s beloved covered bridges in Tynemouth Creek, where your kayaking adventure begins. Paddle through the pristine waters of the Bay of Fundy, stopping to explore a hidden beach for a delicious lunch before continuing to the stunning Split Rock at Duck Pond Beach, another secret treasure along our coastline.

Tapestry is fortunate to border hundreds of acres of protected nature, featuring awe-inspiring landscapes, tranquil streams, and cascading waterfalls. Your hiking experience will take you directly from our doorstep into these magical woods, where every step is a new discovery.

Throughout your journey, you’ll enjoy nourishing meals, including a spectacular coastal seafood feast, ensuring your adventure is as flavorful as it is memorable.

Kathleen Holland

I am a veteran of stepping into new Possibility.  From Corporate Executive to Global Social Entrepreneur to Coach/Mentor, working on six continents, living on both coasts of Canada and climbing Kilimanjaro at the age of 50. The common denominator has been following my heart, trusting my inner wisdom to guide me into the next stage of my life and having the courage to take the leap. Nothing gives me greater joy than inspiring, connecting and supporting women to do the same.  That is why I founded Age of Possibility.

At In Step Adventures, we offer guided hikes and sea kayaking adventures that take you deep into some of the most beautiful Nature Trust and Nature Conservancy-protected areas. Our experiences are designed to connect people with nature in a meaningful way, offering more than just an adventure—they are personal journeys that inspire a deeper appreciation for the environment. Whether paddling along pristine coastlines or hiking through wild, scenic landscapes, we help people discover places worth protecting and share our mission to “Enjoy. Preserve. Protect.”

Each adventure is custom-tailored to our guests—from relaxed, slow-paced outings to action-packed days covering the distance—meeting a wide range of physical abilities, from the easy-going adventurer to the super-fit athlete. And, to make the day even more memorable, every adventure includes a thoughtfully prepared picnic that reflects the flavours and culture of our region, made fresh with locally sourced ingredients—adding a delicious and authentic taste of place to your experience.

With a focus on custom groups, professional, knowledgeable guides, and unforgettable locations, In Step Adventures is your gateway to exploring nature with purpose— because it's Your Adventure, Your Way.
